The next major release of the Linux Mint distribution will officially be called Ulyana, according to the team development. But the biggest change will be the exclusive development of only 64-bit architecture, since from this version onwards, Linux Mint stops supporting 32-bit.
The new Linux Mint 20 will be based on Ubuntu 20.04, and the development team announced that it will be released in three different versions, Cinnamon, MATE and Xfce.

Of course, these systems will continue to run normally, but the lack of updates security and bug fixes will make them more prone to security issues.
"Η LMDE 3 θα φτάσει την EOL (End-of-Life) την 1η Ιουλίου 2020. Τα αποθετήρια θα συνεχίσουν να λειτουργούν, αλλά η έκδοση δεν θα λαμβάνει πλέον διορθώσεις σφαλμάτων και ενημερώσεις ασφαλείας από το Linux Mint", ανέφερε η ομάδα ανάπτυξης.
The team also unveiled some of the changes that will come to the new Linux Mint: Improvements to the XappStatusIcon applets. With the new version, support for StatusNotifier, libAppIndicator and libAyatana will be added thanks to changes made to Electron.
