The hacker reports that the passwords have already been sold, and the requested price was 20 bitcoin (about 8.700 dollars). The actual selling price is unknown at this time.
"THE Server & Hosting τους παραβιάστηκε και η MySQL base data έγινε αντικείμενο ντάμπινγκ," δήλωσε ο hacker στο Motherboard.

The shocking thing is that (as shown) the Dating site Mate1.com stored its users' passwords in plain text without an encryption trace.

So if someone / some of you have a Mate1.com account, it's time to change your password.
Needless to say, if you have an account with another website with the same password you need to change it immediately. It has often been observed that the same passwords are used in too many services. So a code from Mate1.com could also have been used for Gmail, Amazon, or a bank account.
We know that if it does not happen, one does not learn, but it is time to start learning from the mistakes of others.
