Big reshuffles at Microsoft today, as the CEO Satya Nadella has just announced internal moves that will see former Nokia CEO and head of mobile devices and services Stephen Elop leave the company.
Elop will be followed by other executives who have already been confirmed to leave the company.
According to The Verge, another high-ranking executive, Jo Harlow, who worked with Elop, is reportedly leaving the company.
Jo Harlow is not working for her Microsoft large space. He joined the company's staff last year following the acquisition of Nokia's devices and services division.
He was appointed head of the telephone department at Microsoft for the term of the acquisition agreement and continued to work with Elop.
Harlow joined 2003 in Nokia, but began working with Elop and reported directly to 2011.
Its role in Microsoft will take on the head of Windows Terry Myerson, who will become the head of a new group called the Windows and Devices Group.
“The team will focus on enabling a more personal experience computing που θα τροφοδοτείται από το οικοsystem of Windows. This new group will combine the engineering efforts of the current Operating Systems Group and the Microsoft Devices Group,” said Satya Nadella, CEO of today's announcement.
So far, we do not know more about Harlow's fate, whether it continues on Micrsoft or will leave altogether.
