Microsoft has released a new update to Microsoft Edge Fixed Channel, bringing the browser to version 81 on Windows and Mac.
The new version of the browser, which is 81.0.416.53, comes with many new features such as Collections, which has already been tested in Dev builds and Canary for several weeks.
“You can get started by clicking the Collections icon next to line addresses. This action opens the Collections window where you can create, edit and view your Collections. We designed Collections based on what you do on the web. If you're a shopper, traveler, teacher, or student, Collections can help you,” Microsoft says in the release notes.
In addition, this new version comes with more enhancements to the Guard app, as the extension is now supported in the container, adding additional enhancements to F12 Dev Tools, which now supports 10 new languages.

“Microsoft Edge can now detect andslowduplicate files and merge folders with the same name. To access the tool, click the star in the browser toolbar and select “Remove Duplicate Favorites”. You can confirm changes and any updates to your favorites will be synced across all your devices,” Microsoft says.
