Microsoft together with the Austrian University of Applied Sciences are developing the first case που μπορεί να λειτουργήσει σαν δευτερεύουσα screen αφής, παρέχοντας πρόσθετη functionalon the phone screen.
The revolutionary case is called FlexCase, and it uses a piezoelectric circuit to detect all kinds of gestures, pressure on the screen and generally all shortcuts to perform special tasks.
As you can see, such a case creates a wide range of new upcoming features, since it can also be used as a clipboard for easy copying and pasting between applications.
"Touch and flex sensors can be combined to support a new kind of gesture, which we call Grip & Bend," Microsoft said in a description of the video below.
"Many applications will use interactive techniques, such as e-paper reading, copy-and-paste text transfer, easy 3D and 2D management, and the ability to transfer content across screens in a natural and flexible way. ”
It is worth noting that this case is still in the development stage, and this will probably see the cables hanging. If everything goes according to the plan, maybe Microsoft could start mass production at some point.
This case is clearly a very smart way to enhance mobile interaction by offering more features and functionality that are not yet available on devices that are already on the market.
We are talking about real innovation (if we finally see the case become a reality), check out the video:
