Microsoft has announced the new Fluent Design from 2017, but only recently have we begun to see the new aesthetics of the company's software.
Following the presentation of Officeicons last November, the company revealed that it has redesigned more than 100 icons in all of its applications and services, along with a new Windows logo.

Like the Office icons last year, the new designs combine depth, slopes and slightly rounded edges for aesthetically more welcoming aesthetics than the old metro design we saw for the first time with the release of Windows 8.
Fluent Design gives a more 3D, a tangible sense, which seems to make sense, because Microsoft will use this type of design not only on Windows but also on Xbox and HoloLens.
As The Verge reports, the company unveiled the new Windows logo with the announcement of Windows 10X a few months ago. You can see the new Windows logo in the picture below. It's almost the same as the current one, but has slightly rounded corners and soft slopes.
Microsoft says the new design consists of five main elements: light, depth, motion, hardware and scale. The elements must be capable of reacting to light and having different levels of depth.
New separate layers can be applied to animations, while different materials reflect, absorb and transmit light in many different ways.
Unfortunately, Microsoft has not given a specific date for when we will see the new logos in Windows applications and services, beyond a "soon."
