Microsoft has decided to make available for free OneNote for Mac and Windows, trying to compete with Evernote, which is still at the forefront of application notes on too many platforms.
The OneNote 2013 for Windows, which you can download for free starting today, works on Windows 7, Windows 8. OneNote for Windows 8, comes with support for the modern work environment, and it's free too.
Microsoft OneNote for Mac, on the other hand, is already on the Mac App Store, with a free one permission user and provides support for many languages, including English, Chinese, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Swedish. It comes in the form of a packety 235 MB and requires OS X 10,9 or higher.
"With OneNote, you can capture your idea, the moment of inspiration, or record lists of things that are too important to forget. Whether you are at home, at the office or on the road, your notes travel with you. You can share your notes and collaborate with others on multiple devices! ” states Microsoft says in the official description of the application.
