Such as we mentioned yesterday the Nokia application, HERE Maps will stop being distributed by Windows and Windows Phone Store. So users of Microsoft platforms have very few alternatives for a reliable map application. 
What was left as the only option for Windows Phone and the Windows 10 operating system mobile devices, is the built-in Windows Maps application, which also uses data of the HERE Maps app.
But immediately after the announcement of the withdrawal of HERE Maps from the Windows Store, a Microsoft executive revealed to Reddit that the company is already preparing a great update on the default Window Maps application. The update is expected to be released soon.
Initially only Insiders will receive the update, as Microsoft wants to collect more comments about the new features. The app will be available to the public in the coming months, possibly by updating the operating system on the Redstone version to be held this summer.
Without the Google Maps and HERE Maps, Windows Phone and Windows 10 Mobile users have no choice but to use Windows' built-in Maps solution, which will obviously need to come with more improvements to meet today's expectations.
Another solution is to use the Google Maps από το πρόγραμμα περιήγησης Edge. Αναμφίβολα, όμως μια ειδική εφαρμογή μόνο για χάρτες, θα είναι πολύ πιο πρακτική αλλά η Google δεν φαίνεται να είναι πρόθυμη να διαθέσει κάποιο επίσημο client για το Windοws 10 και το Windοws 10 Mobile.
Hopefully, future Microsoft updates will greatly improve Window maps.
