In November 2014 the Mozilla Foundation announced the start of a partnership with Tor Project. For those of you who do not know, Tor Project allows links that go beyond all censorship. By connecting to Tor Project's servers, you can access the internet anonymously.

The Mobzilla Foundation has provided additional 10 Gb / s channels supporting this infrastructure with fast internet, splitting it from its own network infrastructure. This will ensure that Mossilla's services will remain unaffected by potential issues raised in the Tor network.
In the future, the Mozilla Foundation has promised to improve Firefox to make it more "friendly" to the Tor network. So did its developers Mozilla will use parts of Tor's infrastructure in future versions of the Firefox browser for better end-user protection.
