The foundation Mozilla released an open source tool code for memory analysis of servers which it calls Masche (an acronym for Memory Analysis Suite for Checking the Harmony of Endpoints). The tool controls memory processes without affecting normal system activity.
The utility is part of its library Mózilla InvestiGator (MIG), which is a security system for systems Windows, Linux and OS X.
MIG is designed to allow researchers to collect data from a large number of systems at the same time, with a technique that reduces the time to verify an incident and other day-to-day security activities.
Masche was designed and manufactured by a team φοιτητών (Marco Vanotti, Patricio Palladino, Nahuel Lascano και Agustin Martinez Sune) από το Πανεπιστήμιο του Μπουένος Άιρες, στην Αργεντινή. Η application developed over a period of 6 months.
These students form a part of it of the Mozilla Winter of Security program, whose mission is to find an easy and less invasive way to transfer memory control methods.
Το Masche διανέμεται από την Mοzilla Public License, version 2.0 and you can download from GitHub , where you will find instructions for compiling the program.
