New feature in Edge for video translation

Microsoft is testing a new feature in Edge Canary that will allow users to translate videos in Edge to their preferred language.

The new feature was shared by X user @Leopeva64, who shared a GIF of a new “Translate” button that appears when you hover over a video.

Leopeva64 reports that currently, the “Translate” button does nothing when clicked, and Microsoft is probably still working on the new .

It should be noted that the new translation feature in the native PDF reader has not yet reached the stable version of the program and Microsoft is still testing it in Canary builds.

However, when you click on it, it opens a sidebar for translation. It doesn't work like you're translating an entire web on Edge, but it's still a very welcome feature.

We will probably see something similar with the translation of the videos, when the new function goes to the stable .
