Η HMD Global is gearing up to launch the Nokia 8, a device that could be an Android alternative to the iPhone 7 Plus by Apple, since it will have a dual camera system and powerful hardware such as the Snapdragon 835 chip.
A publication of the German webσελίδας WinFuture reveals more details about the upcoming Nokia 8, pointing out that the device could be launched later this month. This means that the new phone could be released in the next two weeks, although HMD could present it in early August.
The Nokia 8 is codenamed TA-1004 and is likely to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, the same chip used in the Samsung Galaxy S8 and OnePlus 5. This processor is currently the flagship chip for Appliances mobile phone, and HMD clearly wants to compete with the big names with its new model.
The device will have 4GB of RAM, but there are also rumors suggesting that it will probably come with one version of 6GB of RAM. The new Nokia 8 will have a default storage capacity of 64GB and will probably support microSD cards.
The device is said to have a 5.3-inch Quad HD display with a resolution of 1440 × 2560 pixels (Gorilla Glass 5), and will probably be released with a Zeiss dual camera system, as HMD hopes to compete with the iPhone 7 Plus.
Rumors indicate that Nokia 8 could cost from 600 dollars, and that it will come in 4 color shades: blue, steel, gold blue and copper gold.
