According to a new publication by GuardianThe NSA “φυτεύει” backdoors και άλλα spyware, σε συσκευές πριν αυτές αποσταλούν στις markets.
The information comes, as always, from the records leaked by Edward Snowden. It should be pointed out the irony of the case, as the US government accused the Chinese government a few years ago of doing exactly the same with Huawei and ZTE devices.
The attacks of the US government were so intense that Huawei eventually decided to leave the US market. Ren Zhengfei, founder and CEO of Huawei, said last November that it is not worthwhile if the presence of the company in the United States causes a problem in the relationship between the two countries (US and China).
The file, published by the Guardian, reveals that the NSA systematically monitors unsuspecting citizens through routers, servers and other network devices computers exported from the United States to international markets.
The service implants the spy tools, packs the devices back with the factory stamp and sends them to the markets.
