Microsoft just changed once it passed its apps Office for Windows 10 in their final version. Prior to the official release of Windows 10 on July 29, the company released the final versions of Office applications to those who tested the preview versions. 
They do not seem to have changed much in the applications, but they are clearly more sophisticated to run on the upcoming Windows 10 operating system. While running on desktops, Microsoft has named mobile apps as they are primarily designed for smartphones and tablets running on Windows 10.

Microsoft has also incorporated OneDrive into applications, so you can edit documents from the cloud and continue from where you stopped.
