Alex Kibkalo, a former employee of her Microsoft who left the company in 2012, was arrested today by the FBI after a year of investigations into allegedly leaking copies of Windows 7 and Windows 8 on the Internet.
According to her publication Seattle Post, Kibkalo gained access to copies of Windows 7 and Windows 8, uploaded them to his cloud staff, and then allowed a French blogger who never revealed his identity to download all the files and share them in Internet.
It seems, of course, that this was not the first time that Kibkalo leaked company records on the Internet, as there are published photos of his Twitter accounts presenting the company's products before their release.
Kibkalo was arrested on Wednesday. Accused of theft trade secrets, and his first hearing with prosecutors is scheduled for this week.
