Microsoft's latest move is sure to please developers using Windows 10 company has one application-client OpenSSH at its latest functional.
The software is available in beta form in the Fall Creators Update and as shown below video by ServeTheHome, is quite easy to install:
The above news means that developers will no longer need to use third-party applications such as PuTTy whenever they want to connect via SSH to a remote server. They can easily use an official tool supported by Microsoft through the Windows command line.
As it turns out, this is another great move from Microsoft, which is increasingly serving the needs of developers.
In recent years, the company has made .Net open source framework, and added Linux (Ubuntu and Bash) to Windows 10.
So a native OpenSSH client is a very welcome move.
