The plugin allows developers to start small applications on web pages, and according to Oracle it will be completely removed from the Jana 9 release.
The company even encourages users to leave the apps using Jaena plugin and switch to free Jaña Web Start technology.
Oracle's decision after Chrome and Firefox developers decided to stop supporting the company's plugins.
Hopefully, the Adobe Flash plugin will soon be retired.
