Οι προγραμματιστές της διανομής PCLinuxOS ανακοίνωσαν την έκδοση της τελευταίας σταθερής έκδοσης και της πρώτης για το νέο έτος 2020.01 PCLinuxOS: Πρόκειται για μια διανομή systemd-free (SysV) και πολύ φιλική προς τους αρχάριους χρήστες. “Φοράει” το KDE Plasma 5.17 just released with the latest Linux kernel 5.4.11:
“PCLinuxOS 2020.01 KDE Full Edition has been released and is available for download. It has the Linux Kernel 5.4.11, all KDE Applications in version 19.08.2, the KDE Framework 5.63.0, and KDE Plasma 5.17.5"
The new ISO image comes with a complement of KDE and its applications LibreOffice: Includes Timeshift, a utility backup and recovery, Bitwarden, an open-source code management application accesss, Darktable, a photo management software, the GIMP a software processings image, the digiKam an image management software; Megasync for storing your files in the cloud, the well-known Teamviewer for remote control of computers, Virtualbox, the Rambox for storing multiple applications in one place, the Simplenotes one application for notes, the well-known one Kodi a multimedia center, Kazam a screen capture utility, Caliber - the app for all e-books, Skrooge a banking software.
