Beware of fake sms for mobilization

It seems some are either pranking or aiming for politics . Δεν εξηγούνται αλλιώς τα mobile phone messages urging citizens to prepare for conscription.

The attention of the citizens draws the Greek Police as mass texting on mobiles has been observed , which invite them to report to the nearest police station in order to receive a marching pass for conscription!

We read from relevant announcement of the Greek police:

Caution! An obviously deceptive message is circulating. Citizens are asked to ignore this

It is carried out by the Hellenic Police Cybercrime Prosecution Division regarding the following message (sms), which is sent to mobile phones, inviting citizens to report to the nearest Police Station for the alleged issuance of a Warrant by the Army.

This message is clearly deceptive and citizens are being asked to ignore it.

 

Of course these sms that are supposed to be sent by the Ministry of Defense, are obviously fake and you should ignore them.
