At the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, several interesting devices were presented. The surprise made a small robot running with Ubuntu. His name is QBO.
Linux fans got a chance to see the first phone up close Edition Meizu MX4 Ubuntu. What they didn't expect was the little robot.
QBO has been manufactured by a company called Thecorpora and specializes in robotics. It is not developed to do a particular job at home, but to be the companion of its owner. So the device has an advanced AI (Artificial intelligence) or artificial intelligence.
Uses the operating system Ubuntu and it is capable of many things. It has stereoscopic vision, a voice recognition system, a speech synthesis system, an API & Web control panel, connections Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and is able to navigate with the help of ultrasonic sensors.
Unfortunately, the project it seems to be developing for a long time without ending.
