Red Hat has announced a new beta version of the Red Hat series Enterprise Linux 7.x. The new Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.6 Beta beta release brings improvements to security, management tools, and Linux containers.
The company announcement states:
“Using the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 hardware modules, η δυνατότητα NBDE επεκτείνεται για να παρέχει δύο επίπεδα χαρακτηριστικών ασφαλείας στις λειτουργίες υβριδικού cloud: Ο network-based mechanism is applied in the cloud, while the use of TPM at the installation site helps to update the disks more securely.
To better integrate intrusion prevention measures, Red Hat Enterprise Linux Firewall features have been improved with nftables improvements.
The nft command line tool can also provide better control. Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.6 beta provides new cryptographic algorithms for the RSA and ECC standards, which help maintain FIPS compliance and remain valid under NIST cryptography standards and by other organizations responsible for managing sensitive information”
