After months of leaks, rumors and speculation, Samsung unveiled the new Galaxy Note 7 by omitting 6.
The specs of the device are known by all those who are interested in being fully aligned with the leaks.
The phone is pretty much the same as the Edge Galaxy S7 / S7, with some extra features for its larger screen.

Unlike last year with the Note 5, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has the same processor and RAM as the S-series, so one would not expect great performance. And yet they are excellent and this may be due to software optimizations according to the TNW that tested the device.
Gorilla Glass 5 is supposed to be 1,8 times more durable than Gorilla Glass 4. It's a bit weird that the Galaxy Note 7 has a slightly smaller battery than the Edge S7 while its screen is bigger.
The phone is just 0,3 thicker than the previous Note 5. The S-Pen has greatly improved, mainly thanks to a smaller grippier spike that is 0,7 mm, which with a ballpoint pen and half of the previous versions.
The iris scanner is an intelligent approach and is supposed to complement the fingerprint scanner. This means he does not come to replace it. Basically, Samsung wants to think of it as an alternative to unlocking, or a second form of identity authentication when you want extra privacy.
With the occasion to mention the macabre news, the iris scanner does not work with dead people.
Although the device does not have the best specifications (there are phones with bigger batteries or more RAM) Samsung adds some unique touches that differentiate it from each manufacturer.
