After weeks, it seems that a fight between FBI and Apple is over today, at least in the federal court that has begun it all.
The US government has officially stated that it has gained access to the iPhone 5C used by San Bernardino's terrorist Syed Rizwan Farook.
"Το FBI έχει πλέον ανακτήσει με επιτυχία τα data που ήταν αποθηκευμένα στο iPhone των τρομοκρατών του San Bernardino και ως εκ τούτου δεν απαιτεί πλέον τη βοήθεια της Apple που απαιτούνταν από την παρούσα δικαστική απόφαση", said Msfaceof the US Department of Justice Melanie Newman.
The Ministry of Justice also reported (as expected) that this method the federalists managed to unlock the device only works on this particular phone, which is an iPhone 5C that was running a version of iOS 9.
Of course this statement is very convenient for the Feds, who don't want to report the loophole to Apple security...

However, experts argue that breaking into a single phone is impossible, and that after finding the vulnerability it could be easily used to access any device.
