At the end of December, Microsoft decided to stop making Skype available in 7.17.0.105, recommending users download the previous version.
The new version has build number 7.17.32.106, and probably includes several performance improvements.
For now, Microsoft has not reported anything officially for this new release, and according to the company's new update policy, we do not expect a change log.
In the meantime, as with any update, it is recommended that the new application be installed immediately.
