For the development of Digital Paper, Sony has collaborated with Worldox, which specializes in document management. The end result is an 13,3 diagonal screen display device that lets you view a PDF document in full size without moving or zooming for better viewing, as is the case with smaller size tablets.

Another important advantage of the device is the fact that it reduces the need s, copying, sharing and transferring paper documents, thus saving valuable resources.

The Digital Paper weighs around 357 grams and offers the user a touch screen, accompanying stylus for input and notes, high contrast screen with 1200 x 1600 pixels, χωρίς backlight και ενσωματωμένη την τεχνολογία E Ink Mobius. Η συσκευή μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί άνετα κάτω από οποιεσδήποτε συνθήκες φωτισμού.

The device is capable of wireless networking via Wi-Fi, which means that documents in digital format can be "uploaded" to a server and then distributed to interested users. Built-in storage space is up to 4GB and a slot for inserting an SD memory card.

Additionally, according to Sony, the Digital Paper's battery can last up to three weeks, and can be charged using a standard charger or USB.

The device will be available from next May at $ 1.100. Finally, it is worth noting that the original of the device had been presented since last May, which was given for testing and evaluation at three Japanese universities.
