Sony is gearing up to release the Ultra on April 4th, a new one service streaming. Αν σχεδιάζετε να παρακολουθείτε 4K ταινίες στο Ultra, ίσως θα πρέπει να προετοιμάζετε το wallet you.
Sony will charge its customers with 30 dollars for streaming a movie at 4K.
According to Buzzfeed, the initial repertoire will include movies like 'The Walk,' 'Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon,' and 'Ghostbusters.' Generally around 40-50 movies will be available at the launch of the new service and you will have to pay $30 to be able to store them in Sony's new UltraViolet cloud.
To mention that $ 30 is about the cost of two movie tickets in large urban areas like New York - or two tickets and popcorn in smaller cities.
The Ultra service will be available on Sony 4K SOHN TVs. The service will also offer TV shows, but Sony has not yet revealed how much the episode will charge. Considering the price it has set per film, we should expect a fairly hot price for 4K and HDR streaming.
At the launch of the Ultra service, the company's customers will be able to stream of four films free of charge upon registration.
