The whole world has turned their attention to ChatGPT, Bard and Midjourney. But the burgeoning world of artificial intelligence has in its bowels many notable startup companies that deserve your attention.
The AI revolution has just begun with ChatGPT, Midjourney and recently Bard leading the way. But the artificial intelligence technology which essentially tries to simulate human comparisons and synapses in the brain, is not patented, nor is it the privilege of one.
And it's not just limited to language learning and photography. There are heaps of AI startups using AI and machine learning.
Some of them deserve attention as they are expected to play their role in the market in the coming years. Let's see some.
anthropic
Anthropic, a pioneering AI startup founded in 2021 by a group of former OpenAI executives, focuses on building artificial intelligence systems and language models.
The focus of the company based in San Francisco is to push its limits researchof artificial intelligence and create security-focused products that benefit people.
It aims to achieve this by incorporating human feedback into the creation of powerful, interpretable and guided AI systems. Anthropic is confusing us, isn't it? Let's see what it actually does.
One of Anthropic's projects is Claude, an AI chatbot programmed with strict rules, including Apple's rules for app developers and the UN Declaration of Human Rights, to mitigate the risk of generating harmful or unwanted responses.
Claude is essentially an assistant that performs various word processing tasks and conversations, including producing creative content and detailed instructions, coding, dialogue and extracting fundamental concepts from scientific material. You can also use Claude in the areas of customer service, coaching and legal advice.
Anthropic is backed by several investors including Google, Jaan Tallinn (co-founder of Skype), Spark Capital and the Center for Emerging Risks Research (CERR).
Currently Anthropic is only available in the US and the UK, so to access it from Greece you will need a VPV. It requires email registration, but with temporary ones Yopmail emails it worked fine.

Soundraw is an AI music generator designed to create new royalty-free music.
To create music, specify the desired duration and tempo, and select the mood, genre, theme, rhythm or instrument to start creating.
Soundraw will generate several variations, from which you can choose the one you want to customize further. You can manually adjust various elements, such as the length of the music, the tempo and the emphasis of the instruments, according to your preferences.
The music produced can be used in personal or commercial content, including audiobooks, radio programs, videos, etc.
Synthesia
In 2017, Victor Riparbelli and several co-founders launched the Synthesia, a service that aims to streamline video production by eliminating cameras, actors and other expenses.
The potential of this venture has attracted several investors, including Nvidia, Kleiner Perkins, FirstMark Capital and venture capital firm Accel.
Intuitive and user-friendly AI video generator allows you to create videos from text and animated avatars. To create a video, enter some text, choose an avatar and specify your preferred language.

AI stability
Stability AI is a leading open source AI company that trains models that startups can rely on. It is also the company behind the stable diffusion, which specializes in creating an image from text.
The company is actively developing Open AI models in various fields, including image, audio, video, 3D and biology. Its most famous product is Stable Diffusion, a text-to-image generator that rivals Midjourney and DALL-E .
The latest version of Stable Diffusion, Stable Diffusion XL or SDXL, also allows you to import an image to create variations of that image.
Other products include DreamStudio, the company's premium image-to-text suite, and Clipdrop, an ecosystem of apps, plugins, and resources designed for creators.
The company also offers special plugins for both Photoshop as well as for Blender.
Specialized companies
In addition to the above companies that you can more or less try from your computer, there are also a bunch of others that are much more specialized.
Example h Glen, founded in 2019 by Arvind Jain, a former Google engineer, scans all of your company's apps, leveraging language, context, behavior and relationships to provide personalized responses.
It's essentially a search and answer assistant tailored for your company.
Another example is Observe.AI, designed to help call centers achieve the best customer interaction.
One of its most critical functions is Supervisor Assist. It allows call center contact center supervisors to monitor customer interactions live, prioritize conversations that require their intervention, communicate with multiple agents and synchronize remote teams.
And the list goes on and on, once they've hit the ground running in the churches, in the army and in every human activity.
Artificial Intelligence is just getting started
The AI production scene now has products that can produce new content in a variety of domains, including code, images, audio, video, poems, and 3D product designs, with little to no human assistance.
AI startups are also securing significant funding from leading tech companies and venture capital firms to advance their ambitions.
While humans are generally more creative than AI, there is a growing trend among AI startups to develop products that surpass human creativity.
These developments raise concerns among skeptics about the possibility of a significant displacement of jobs in the creative sector.
