Stop upgrading to Windows 10 easily without third-party software

It is now known that Microsoft with a rather aggressive policy is trying to upgrade the world's computers to Windows 10. So too many users use different tweaks and applications to block upgrades.

So third-party software solutions such as the GWX Control Panel are very popular these days. However, it is important to know that Microsoft also has an alternative way, really easy to implement in Windows 7. And it's very effective.Windows 10

The updated released by Microsoft in mid-2015 for Windows 7 (download the update at 32-bit or to 64-bit from here), supports a new policy that completely prevents upgrading to new versions of Windows.
So, all you have to do is install this update and then enable the new policy to make sure that your computer will never be upgraded to Windows 10.

To use Group Policy Editor, click Start on Windows 7, and type gpedit.msc to run the application. Then follow the route:

Computer Configuration / Administrative Templates / Windows Components / Windows Update

Open it called “Turn off the upgrade to the latest version of Windows through Windows Update,” and set it to “Enabled”

With the Registry Editor method, simply click on the Start menu, and start the application by typing .exe. Follow the route:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Policies \ Microsoft \ Windows

Select the Windows folder, right-click on it and create a new entry called "WindowsUpdate." On the right page, create a new DWORD entry called "DisableOSUpgrade" and set the value to 1.

That's it. Windows 10 will not be installed on your computer. Unless the company changes something.
