Have you installed the Super Mario Run on your Android? It's malware

After the success of Pokémon Go, Super Mario Run has become Nintendo's hottest game for young and old alike. Having already 40 downloads the game came a week ago and on the iOS platform.mario

Of course, fans of Android devices are disappointed since it is not officially compatible with their operating system yet. A simple one but on the internet it will convince you otherwise. If you search you will find an executable apk file of the game which runs on Android and is not under the Google Play platform.

Have you already downloaded and run it on your phone? Congratulations!! You have malware stuck. Super Mario Run has so far only been released for iOS devices and does not exist on Google Play. Anything on the internet is malware.

The malware to install will require the user to go to of phone security and set it to allow installation of apps from “untrusted sources”.

Some of these malicious apps circulating on the internet have the ability to take full control of your Android device, since the app asks you during installation for access to edit, read, receive and send SMS messages, pull and video and locate your location using GPS.

However, one of the malicious applications entitled "Super Mario” creates additional icons, displays pop-ups and in banners, installs other malicious applications on the victim's smartphone, and performs activities without user interaction. According to the antivirus company Trend Micro its executives have been detected the malicious Super Mario application 90.000 times this year.

Another application, also called "Super Mario" discovered by the security company, asks users first to install an application called 9Apps, which then asks for more permissions, including audio recording, to read and modify the calendar and even access to the SD card.

So, instead of downloading apps from unfamiliar third-party stores, we recommend that Android users wait for official traffic through Google Play.

We also recommend that you go to Settings → Security and make sure the "Unknown Sources" option is turned off.
