Who are they? Team Minders; In Sochi, Russia, where the recent Winter Olympics took place, 11 was held at the Olympics of Educational Robotics on "Robots and Space".
There, the Greeks schoolchildren they had the opportunity to prove their rich talent and scientific background, representing our country worthy, since they managed to distinguish themselves in a total of 100 participations from all over the world.
The creative thinking, the ability to handle all modern technologies and the team spirit of the Greek mission 'Team Minders' under the guidance of the coach Mr. Moraitis prevailed and gave the Greek students (Agoropoulos Stelios, Lessis Alexandros, Eleftheriadis Dimitris, Taoukis Iasonas and Zafeiris Orpheas) the 7th place in the Open category of the educational robotics competition.
This is an important distinction as the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) competition enables students from 8 - 18 to understand Natural Sciences, Technology, Engineering and Computing, allowing them to engage in a process of solving a problem with using all the modern robotic technologies available today.
The teams for the 2015 Olympics will be promoted by the 7 Pan-Hellenic Competition organized by the WRO Hellas (wrohellas.gr & FB / WRO Hellas) to cooperation με τις Περιφερειακές Διευθύνσεις Εκπαίδευσης της χώρας μας και διεξάγεται τον προσεχή Ιούνιο, υπό την αιγίδα του Υπουργείου Παιδείας.
The winners of each category (from the Primary to the High School) will renew their appointment for the next Robotic Olympics in Qatar, 2015.
