In April, 129 retail price will reach Greece, Nokia X, one of the three models of the first smartphone series developed by the Finnish company with a variant of Android.
Along with the Nokia X+ and Nokia XL, the Nokia X was announced by the company at Mobile World Congress. Like the other two models in the series, the design is quite reminiscent of the Lumia series devices, which are based on Windows Phone. The smartphone accepts two SIM cards and has a 4-inch touchscreen (analysiss 800 x 480 pixels), dual-core processor Qualcomm 1 GHz and 512 MB RAM.
Its camera has a resolution of 3 Megapixels, while it integrates a GPS receiver and a slot for microSD cards. Thus, its storage space expandable up to 32GB.
The Nokia X uses a modified version of Google's operating system, which means that the interface has been developed by Nokia, referring to characteristics Windows Phone tiles. Also, from this one version of Android, the basic Google services (e.g. Google Drive, maps) are absent, having been replaced with corresponding services from Nokia and Microsoft (Onedrive, Nokia Here).
At the same time, it does not provide access to Google Play, the official Android app store, but to an online repository created by Nokia. Users will also be able to download apps from existing alternative Android app stores such as Yandex.
