Microsoft opened registration for its Build 2016 conference at noon, but just as expected, tickets sold out really fast, so if you're interested, you've got no choice choice from being added to the waiting list.
This year, the company managed to create a new record as the conference was sold out in less than five minutes, according to a Microsoft statement.
Informing about the conference last year Build 2015 tickets were all sold within 45 minutes. So this year's five are considered a record.
"We are excited about the ongoing interest in Build. The conference sold out in less than 5 minutes, but we encourage developers to join the waiting list as additional tickets arrive. The keynote speeches and selective sessions will be broadcast live on Wednesday, March 30 from 08:30 am. The conference was sold out last year within 45 minutes.
This year the company will not give gifts to those who watch the show. In the past, attendees left with expensive gifts, such as tablets, but this year Microsoft is changing its strategy.
Build 2016 will take place in San Francisco between March 30 and April 1 and is expected to bring us a lot of exciting news, including information about the company's plans to bring Windows 10 apps from Android and iOS.
