Tor Project announced the launch of the Tor Point 6.5 first point release. The 6.5.1 version is the first maintenance version of 6.5.
Ο Tor Browser 6.5.1 seems to be a minor release coming up with new technologies such as the anonymous Tor 0.2.9.10, OpenSSL 1.0.2k, HTTPS-Everywhere 5.2.11, and Torbutton 1.9.6.14.
It also has the latest updates security recently released by the Mozilla Foundation for the Firefox 45.8.0 ESR web browser.
The first maintenance release of Tor Browser 6.5 stable fixes a bug that existed on the platforms GNU / Linux and referred to as: “Using a system-installed Tor.” It also updates various translations of other languages.
