The Tor Project has announced the release of the first point release of Tor Browser 6.5. THE version 6.5.1 is the first maintenance release of version 6.5.
Ο Tor Browser 6.5.1 seems to be a minor release that comes supporting new technologies such as anonymous network Tor 0.2.9.10, OpenSSL 1.0.2k, HTTPS-Everywhere 5.2.11, and Torbutton 1.9.6.14.
It also has the latest updates recently released by the Mozilla Foundation for Firefox 45.8.0 ESR web browser.
The first maintenance version of Tor Browser 6.5 stable also fixes a bug that existed on the GNU / Linux platforms and was referred to as: "Using a system-installed Tor." It also updates various translations of other languages.
