The Turkish authorities are implementing new measures to restrict freedom of speech and the media.
Watchdog group Turkey Blocks reports that the anonymous Tor Network (Tor Network) has now been blocked, following similar tactics last month aimed at blocking access to VPN services and some social networks across the country.
Contrary to previous censorship cases following specific events, the move by the Erdogan government seems to aim at foreclosing the free internet to find unbiased news without reason, except perhaps by the government's strenuous efforts to stay in power .

Social networks and Facebook, Twitter, η service WhatsApp and YouTube have been blocked since last month.
In October, access to Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive and GitHub was denied access to an email from Berat Albayrak, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources (President Erdogan's Groom), leaked to the Internet.
Correspondence is believed to expose Erdogan.
