Twitter buys Mitro a password security company

A really good news from a company that seems to be interested in the safety of its users. The Twitter bought the small startup called Mitro, which focuses on password security.

According an announcement published by Mitro in her, h θα δουλέψει για το Τwitter, και θα επικεντρωθεί σε μια ποικιλία projects που σχετίζονται με τη γεωγραφική τοποθεσία του χρήστη (geo).

The company will not integrate with Twitter, and will continue to develop its own products that allow people to share ς πρόσβασης σε ένα λογαριασμό. Υπάρχουν κάποιες αλλαγές στη startup, με την μεγαλύτερη από αυτές να είναι ότι από σήμερα η Mitro θα είναι open-source.

“Starting today, all Mitro products will be released under the GPL license on Github. We've worked hard to develop a secure, easy-to-use password manager for individuals and groups. We've made a lot of progress and we believe the community can help us achieve even more. With that in mind, we're excited to have advice and help from (EFF), για τη μετάβαση της Mitro σε ένα βιώσιμο, -run project,” the announcement reads.

People can go have a look at the source code for Github and check the system for bugs or websites that do not work reliably, which can then report to Mitro to help improve the project.
