Very good news for micro-blogging fans: The Twitter officially removed the character limit from instant messages.
The change, which will be released today, means that you can send messages as large as you want without having to cut words to not exceed the (spastical) character limit.
Messages are as large as you want from the web, or from any official Twitter app, but also from third party applications that need to update them to add the new feature.
In July, Twitter reported a limit of 10.000 characters in a note to developers, but the company said today that personal messages could now have "unlimited" characters.
Twitter also updated its iOS apps, Android, Twitter for Mac as well as TweetDeck and Twitter for the web to allow instant messaging, with no character limits.
The change just begins to circulate and if you have not come, you will see it shortly. Patience and Deprivation!
