Elon Musk, after managing to cause irreparable damage to the Twitter platform, resigns as CEO.
After six months since billionaire Elon Musk took over as CEO of Twitter, he has finally realized that he is not fit for the job. During his tenure, he made several changes that unfortunately only managed to cause concern among his users.
At first he added paid to blue verification check mark, after the removed, opened the platform to everyone the "sprayed", fired half staff, then asked them to turn back, he asked the rest of the staff to almost sleep in the company, and many other shenanigans.
Even the co-founder and former CEO of Twitter, Jack Dorsey admitted that Elon Musk is not the right person to lead the company.
But his time at the helm has (finally) come to an end. Either he took note of all the disappointing comments, or he just doesn't care anymore, o Musk wrote on Twitter that he is stepping down from his role as CEO.
“I'm excited to announce that I've hired a new CEO for X/Twitter. It will start in ~6 weeks! My role will transition to executive chairman and CTO, overseeing products, software and sysops”
The newly appointed CEO is Linda Yacarino (Linda Yaccarino), NBCU's current president of global advertising and partnerships. He has been with NBCU for more than a decade, instrumental in launching the ad-supported streaming service Peacock.
