Two new AM1 motherboards from Asus for budget PCs of high performance

Η Asus announced two new releases motherboard, AM1M-A and AM1I-A. The new mobo will support the latter APU (Accelerated Processing Units) Athlon and Sempron.


Both are great choices for making low cost desktop PCs and home-theater PCs, as they provide high computing power, DirectX 11.1 graphics and Fusion controller hubs - despite their small size.

They contain it Asus 5X Protection, a combination of the company's technologies to protect against short circuits, drop current and similar cases.

As for connectivity, there are four USB ports and two USB 3.0 ports. The AM1M-A that is ATX has a PCI-Express 2.0 port while the mini-ATX AM1I-A has a PCIe X4 port.
