It seems that the UK is really trying to kill any kind of freedom of the press. A group of members of the English parliament has launched an investigation into the publication of her articles Guardian which referred to mass surveillance based on documents leaked by the NSA by Edward Snowden.
Home Secretary for Home Affairs, Keith Vaz, says he will examine the figures Guardian to participate in Snowden's leaks.
"I have received a letter from Liam Fox asking the Home Office to select a committee to look into the Guardian's role, and in publishing data, on Snowden leaks," said Keith Vaz.
In addition, Liam Fox asked Prime Minister David Cameron for a "complete and transparent assessment of the Guardian's involvement in the Snowden case." In response, Cameron encouraged the investigation.
British journalists have faced a tough time in recent months as government officials have launched an effort to intimidate them into not publications about GCHQ [secret service Government Communications Headquarters].
A few months ago, the Guardian was forced to ruin its hard drives, since it refused to deliver the files on GCHQ.
