Those of you who want to upgrade their old Fedora 24 system to the new Fedora 25, Fedora Ambassador Justin W. Flory has published a nice tutorial on how to do it without installing it from the beginning deleting the old one.
Here's how to upgrade to the new Fedora 25 through the GNOME Software manager or DNF package manager.
Let's first look at the easy way:
Open GNOME Software from the GNOME Shell interface, go to the Updates tab, and upgrade to Fedora 24 by following the instructions shown in screen you.
Upgrade from Fedora 24 to Fedora 25 with DNF
If you are a Fedora power user you can do it by DNF Upgrade plugin. The upgrade process from Fedora 24 to Fedora 25 is pretty simple, but you need to run a few commands on the terminal.
Πρώτα απ ‘όλα, βεβαιωθείτε ότι το λογισμικό Fedora 24 που χρησιμοποιείτε είναι ενημερωμένο και ότι έχετε πάρει κάποιο αντίγραφο security of your most important files and settings.
You will then need to install the DNF Upgrade plugin using the first command listed below. After installation, you can start upgrading with the second command.
sudo dnf install dnf-plugin-system-upgrade sudo dnf system-upgrade download --releasever = 25
When all the packages are down, you have to restart your system, no matter what method you used. Upgrading the system will continue and it will take a few minutes to complete. If you experience any problems, you can ask for help Fedora community or the wiki page of the project, referring to the paragraph ” DNF system upgrade. "
