Today, Viber has released a new update that gives you the ability to share short video clips with your friends list. The update can work with third-party services such as Giphy and Wikipedia, and comes with redesigned emoticons.
Let's start with the most important change. Now with just one tap you will be able to record a 30 second video, which you can share with your friends.
The new feature is integrated into the chat window, and can be used by dragging the voice message button. But before you do, there are a-two things you should consider.
Videos are limited to thirty seconds, cropped to a circular shape, and unlike Snapchat, there's no date expiration.
Viber, with the new update, claims to be partnering with third-party services. Initially, these services are limited to: Giphy, Wikipedia, and TheMovieDB, and it seems more will come.
The new version of Viber also supports new stickers. To access them, simply type '@' with her name services you are trying to access, such as '@stickers'.
