VLC Media Player 2.2.2 is a big upgrade that fixes many of those annoying issues mentioned in the previous version, VLC Media Player 2.2.1, and also adds some much-needed improvements, such as support for Apple's Mac OS X El Capitan series.
VLC Media Player 2.2.2 adds support for 9-bit and 10-bit GBR planar formats, supports GoToMeeting 2 and GoToMeeting 3 codecs, and improves the addons dialog manager and the playlist.
In addition to the above, it improves the time of resume dialog, preferences, and Lua extensions.
