The protagonist of this story is a young man named Jakub F, who in the last few years was raising warez forums of various kinds of illegal software and music.

While he calculated that no one would pay attention to him, the vigilantes α της BSA ( Software Alliance) eventually tracked down his website and after a lawsuit was filed by the company in his country, the police arrested Jakub F on charges of trafficking in illegal software.

Jakub F appeared in court and after a short trial was given a three-year suspended sentence, along with confiscation of of.

Unfortunately, the BSA lawyers did not stop there, and proceeded with financial claims against Jakub in the amount of € 351.000,00.

The judge did not agree with the way BSA's lawyers calculated compensation, but before they can reject their claims, BSA and Jakub agreed to cover the damages.

This agreement, according to TorrentFreak, required Jakub to record a short video in which he should have recounted his life as warez pirate software.

In addition, to get rid of the obligation to pay € 351.000,00 as a fine, Jakub's video should reach 200.000 views on YouTube.

At the time of writing this article, the video had 396,125 views, which means it overcame the hardship of financial compensation. This number of views made it within 5 days after his video has been uploaded to Youtube since November 22.
