Windows 10 version 1903 Cumulative Update KB4501375

Microsoft is preparing for the release of another cumulative update, this time for the latest one of 10 called the May 2019 Update or version 1903.

The cumulative update KB4501375 is currently available to users who are registered for the May 2019 Update of Windows Insider.

Windows 10

After installing KB4501375, the build of Windows becomes 18362.207.

The update is only offered to the company's testers and so there is no changelog yet. Of course, more information is expected to be released after the official release of the update via Windows Update.

Meanwhile, there are indications that the cumulative update KB4501375 fixes an event view (logs) bug that was introduced by the previous published in Patch Tuesday.

According to Microsoft:

Όταν προσπαθείτε να αναπτύξετε, να προβάλετε ή να δημιουργήσετε Προσαρμοσμένες προβολές στο Πρόγραμμα προβολής συμβάντων (Event Viewer), ενδέχεται να παρουσιαστεί το σφάλμα: "MMC has detected an error in a snap-in and will unload it.". Η it may become unresponsive or even shut down.

The bug also affects older versions of Windows 10, but Microsoft could try to do the Insider May 2019 Update before releasing an update for everyone.

In addition to the cumulative update KB4501375, Microsoft has also released a new servicing stack update for Windows 10. The KB4506933 update is also available to users who are registered for the May 2019 Update of Windows Insider, without a changelog.

Those registered in the Release Preview ring can get the updates from the route:

Ρυθμίσεις - Ενημέρωση και ασφάλεια - Windows Update - Ελέγξτε για ενημερώσεις ή Settings - Update & Security - Windows Update - Check for updates.
