Windows 10 Anniversary Update turn off Cortana

In Windows 1607 version 10 Update, Microsoft removed Cortana on-off. But the setting is still available if you know where to look.

As with most Windows features, you can remove the search button or box completely if you are sure you will not need it.
CORTANA Windows 10
Just right click on εργασιών και, στη συνέχεια, κάντε κλικ στο Cortana – .

Με αυτή την επιλογή, μπορείτε να έχετε πρόσβαση στην πλήρη λειτουργία του Cortana πατώντας το πλήκτρο των Windows και πληκτρολογώντας τον όρο αναζήτησης. Αν θέλετε να απενεργοποιήσετε όλες τις λειτουργίες του Cortana, αφήνοντας μόνο τη δυνατότητα αναζήτησης σε τοπικές εφαρμογές, αρχεία και , we'll have to tinker with the registry a bit.

Σε ένα σύστημα που εκτελεί Windows 10 Pro ή Enterprise Edition, μπορείτε να χρησιμοποιήσετε την πολιτική της ομάδας (Group ) to apply the setting to multiple machines in a corporate network. For a single computer, use the local Group Policy Editor.
(Win + R in the window that opens, type gpedit.msc and press enter).

When Computer Configuration> Administration Templates> Windows Components> Search> Enable Cortana opens and set the setting to Off.

or Administrative Templates - Windows Components - Search - Allow Cortana set the setting to disabled.

If you are now in Windows 10 Home, you need to edit the registry. (Win + R in the window that opens, type regedit and press enter)

Follow the route:

HKLM \ Software \ Policies \ Microsoft \ Windows \ Windows Search

(you may need to create this key if it does not exist) and then create the AllowCortana DWORD and set 0 as the value.

Log out and log in again and you'll see that the text in the search box has changed from "Ask me anything" to "Windows Search."
