A held by consumer group Which? reveals that at least 50% of all Windows 10 users have encountered a bug in their operating system .

21% of respondents said software compatibility issues are the most common in Windows 10, as their applications do not work properly or at all, while 16% report hardware problems, such as printers and speakers on their systems.Windows 10

Other reported by users include e-mail accounts no longer syncing, personal files lost, system slowdowns or even complete Windows crashes.

So Which? urges Microsoft to "respect the rights of its users and, if necessary, to pay compensation to those who have encountered a problem with the installation of Windows 10."

Which? says it has already contacted Microsoft to point out the growing number of complaints it has received from Windows 10 users, and Microsoft has said it will "consider the proposals."

"We want to make sure our customers get the support they need to get a better Windows update experience. We will continue to look at our clients' issues on a case-by-case basis to ensure even individual assistance in resolving where possible. "Which ?, members are very important to us, so we are currently looking at ways we can work together in the future to ensure they get the support they need in an easy and fast way," Microsoft told Which? .

Which? on the other hand it says consumers should get quality updates, noting that patches don't work and they have problems, their computers need to be fixed .

Users should also be able to choose whether or not to receive updates, which is not currently the case with Windows 10 Home.
