Microsoft released today Windows Insider Preview των Windows 10 Build 17758 για τους Windows Insiders who watch the Slow Ring. The same version was released for Insiders registered to the Fast Ring last Wednesday and nothing but fixes.
One of the changes worth mentioning marks the start of development of its final version Windows 10 October 2018 Update that will be released to the public in early October.
The change log published by the company he says:
The watermark at the bottom right corner of the desktop no longer exists in this build. This does not mean that this is the final build as we have not finished yet. We have started the final control phase in the code to prepare for the final version.
The public release of the operating system will start in October and will take place gradually, for many different reasons. The first mentioned by the company is the overloading of the servers that distribute the update.
The second reason that is not mentioned so often is that controlled distribution gives repair time to the "final" version of Windows, as developers have feedbacks from more (daring) users.
As with any Microsoft release, it is a good idea to wait before installation, especially in production systems.
Let's not forget that Windows as a Service is a constantly evolving version of the Microsoft operating system…
