A few days ago we announced the release of Windows 10 Build 17763 in the Fast Ring for Insiders. Today Microsoft was released the same build on the Slow Ring. This version only brings bug fixes and does not include any new features.
Essentially the development of the coming Windows 10 October 2018 Update (version 1809) is over. So all recent releases fix a number of minor issues reported by Insiders.
The new Windows 10 build 17763 includes the following fixes and enhancements:
Fixed an issue for Flash on Microsoft Edge.
Fixed an issue where thumbnails and icons might not display if present archives videos saved on desktop.
Fixed a problem where some Bluetooth audio devices did not have audio in applications that also use the microphone.
Fixed an issue that led to increased battery usage in specific applications like OneNote.
Fixed an issue in the PowerShell where Japanese characters were not displaying correctly.
Build 17763 still has two known issues:
Task Manager does not report the exact CPU usage.
Arrows to open it background processes in Task Manager are constantly flashing strangely.
