On May 18, Microsoft confirmed officially that users can download the information of Windows 10 21H1 if they use any of the existing tools:
- Through Windows Update, but it will probably be delayed because the update is rolling out gradually.
- Update Assistant (to upgrade the existing installation)
- Media Creation Tool (for upgrading the existing installation or for a new installation with version 21H1)
- Installation image (.ISO).
The May 2021 Update is not a big release and there is nothing essential for the end user.
Such as we mention long changelog, Windows 10 version 21H1 features are aimed at enterprise customers and those using Windows Hello with multiple cameras.
In other words, there is no reason to install this feature update today. The only change you will notice is the new OS version and version numbers.
